For the most part, Melanie has it spot on.
She talks of moderate Muslims having the ground cut out from under their feet, but with all due respect to Melanie for her fearless truth-telling she doesn’t see that where Islam is concerned, so called moderate Muslims are irrelevant.

Someone said once and quite accurately, all Muslims are not jihadists, but all jihadists ARE Muslim.
Moderate Islam is like Perestroika was to the Soviet Union; an attempt to fix something that is structurally unfixable. Islam was and is a warrior cult, a religion that demands submission first and foremost (which is what Islam means) and uses force to compel belief. I fear it simply cannot be fixed in any meaningful way. It would die if it were to become a mere competitor and not an overlord.
