I saw this in a web forum today and just had to post it..
[From the site: Answering Infidels]
This is quite a good article on Muhammad – what he was really like, historically and objectively.
The end paragraph makes the point (and a very good one) best:
The truth about Muhammad has been one of the world’s best-kept secrets. For centuries, it has been virtually impossible to raise objections about the character of Muhammad in Muslim countries, for anyone who raised such objections would (following the example set by Muhammad himself) immediately be killed. Outside the Muslim world, there has been little interest in Islam, and those who have been interested have typically relied on modern Muslim reports about Muhammad, such as the above passage from Mawdudi. But things have changed. Now the entire world is interested in Islam, and Muslims aren’t able to silence everyone. Moreover, with the advent of the Internet, it is now impossible to keep Muhammad’s life a secret. The facts about the founder of Islam are spreading very rapidly, and Muslims are frantically scurrying to defend their faith. But the information superhighway is paving over the ignorance that has for centuries been the stronghold of Islamic dogma. In the end, Islam will fall, for the entire structure is built upon the belief that Muhammad was the greatest moral example in history, and this belief is demonstrably false.
Islam may well be destroyed to a certain degree in the eyes of us infidels in the West, but the thing is that in their own countries their belief is very strong and will remain so, information in many of them NOT being freely available. These countries such as Iran will become more dangerous, not less, being ruled by religious fanatics as they are. These kind will be quite willing to risk a retaliation from Israel and/or the USA by striking at Israel (or elsewhere in the West perhaps, but more likely Israel) with nuclear weapons, seeing as they consider it quite acceptable to lose a great deal of their population in the cause of Islam and the establishment of a worldwide caliphate.
I do hope these weapons can be kept out of their hands.
I don’t know how all this will pan out apart from the general sense we gain from Biblical prophecy, but I DO know our Father, the Lord God of Israel is in control, there fore there is no reason for fear.
In this article “‘Peaceful’ PA official praises suicide bombers” from WND, it is once again exposed how they tell one thing to the useful idiots of the MSM, and say what they really mean to their own.
I guess I’m just pissed off because even around me in everyday life I see so many people who lap up what the Media tells them on the Mideast without any critical filtering. Oh, it’s on the news so it must be right, right? Yeaaahhh right – NOT!
The religion of peace and justice?? I. don’t. think. so!
Seriously, how can those who promote the religion of Islam expect us to take them seriously when this kind of obscenity takes place in every Islamic fundamentalist state in the world. Similar kinds of ‘justice’ are taking place in every country where this religion in it’s extreme form as an evil death cult thrives.
And it says a lot about the Koran, in that when Muslims begin to study it in depth is when they become this extreme.
The outrage of a girl being executed for just defending herself makes my sense of justice boil to the point where I want to explode! Or puke! Or something..
For those who don’t already know, there is a serious (critical) security flaw in the Windows Metafile (WMF) code, which Microsoft has not yet made a patch available for.
This is a very serious flaw, with malicious code out there on the net right now. The worst part is that this flaw requires no user interaction to execute – in other words if someone manages to get malicious code onto your machine, it will almost certainly run, without you even clicking on any links.
It can also go past any security settings, from what I know.
Fortunately however, a clever guy by the name of Ilfak Guilfanov has come up with a patch that will close this hole. Though this patch is completely effective, it should still only be regarded as a temporary fix until Microsoft makes a patch available. So I would advise that you apply this workaround as soon as possible.
See this link on Steve Gibson’s site for details.
I don’t usually put out a warning like this, but this a far more serious flaw than usual.
Update: Fri 6/1/06
Microsoft has made a patch for this available. It will probably show up pretty quick if you have your Automatic Updates turned on. Otherwise you know the drill – go to Windows Updates. I installed this patch on the work computer today and it showed no ill effects so far that I’m aware of.
If you installed the workaround patch previously mentioned, don’t forget to un-install it first before installing Microsoft’s.
